The commune of Laudun-L'Ardoise is situated at the north-eastern limit of the Languedoc-Roussillon region, facing Provence.

The town is directly influenced by the mediterranean - rich in colourful history and culture.

At the heart of the ancient Roman Empire, the "Camp de César" is a gallo-roman town covering 18 Ha and surrounded by Orange, Nîmes and Vaison-la-Romaine. 20 km south stands the Pont du Gard, an architectural masterpiece and one of the most visited momuments in France.
